Kenya holds Ethiopia in U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier

The National Women’s U17 soccer team Junior Starlets held hosts Ethiopia to a 0-0 draw in their first leg,3rd round ,U17 world Cup qualifier played Friday at Abebe Bikila Stadium,Addis Ababa.

Kenya dominated the encounter in the final 15 minutes but failed to capitalize on them and now hold a slim advantage ahead of return leg in Nairobi on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The winner over the two legs will meet either Burundi or Djibouti in the fourth and final round of the qualifiers.

The u17 women’s World Cup is scheduled October 2024 in Dominican Republic.
