Boeing jet diverts to New Zealand after engine fire
A Virgin Australia Boeing 737-800 bound for Melbourne, Australia, was forced to divert to New Zealand Monday after a fire shut down one of its engines. The number of passengers on the flight and the cause of the fire were not immediately known, a Queenstown Airport spokesperson said.
