Comedian Mulamwah has announced he is taking to the streets of Nairobi on Tuesday armed with about four buckets of mandazi.
He shared a picture of himself and his wife, Ruth, standing next to the buckets, with the caption, “energy kwa wingi.”
The comedian was also seen at the Thursday demonstrations on June 20 offering tea and mandazis to Kenyans as they protested the Finance Bill 2024.
The demonstrations, according to the youth taking part, are in response to the Finance Bill 2024 which was tabled and passed in parliament on Thursday, June 20.
On Tuesday, the bill will move to parliament as the committee of the whole House debate dropping some of the contentious clauses or rejecting it as the protesters demand.
Protests are currently ongoing in multiple town including Nairobi, Thika, Mombasa, Lodwar, Thika, Nyeri, Kisumu, Makueni and more.
