He got down on one knee with their dog at sunset, and he popped the question. After an emotional “Yes” they had a surprise engagement party with their 50 closest friends and family.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The food was provided by Sunlake, and leaned into a sophisticated take of Italian Classics. For the aperitivo they had a mix of canapes and stations featuring local salumi and cheeses, oysters, and other local cuisines. The dinner had the options of filet of beef with a foie gras, Mediterranean Branzino with vine ripe, blistered tomatoes, and a flan of zucchini. They had a massive sweets display with all times of cakes, cannolis, tiramisu, etc. The late night food was a custom ape pizza oven. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]For the wedding day they wanted a very classic, romantic vibe with white, greens and golds. They liked the idea of the babies breath clouds mixed with vintage gold chandeliers to give it a very Italian feel. Vincenzo Dascanio brought their vision to life from their simple, yet impactful ceremony design to their breathtaking reception in the glass house from Privitera.

The welcome party was designed by Lilla Florals, and they wanted a stark contrast to the wedding design with different shade of red. It was bit more modern with the monochromatic color tones, and they wanted long community tables for the guests to get to know each other at their first event. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was an impressive design by Ramperti that had layered sugar work. The cake was the centerpiece to the fireworks display and champagne spray to kick off the party.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]They had a custom watercolor done of the venue and their crest that we used throughout all of the stationery pieces[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]As a favor for the guests they used their favorite cologne and perfume by Tom Ford, so that when guests used it for the time to come to the scent would be a reminder of Lake Como and their wedding celebration[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]They had two displays of fireworks for the celebration. The day time, color fireworks were for when they exchanged their first kiss at the ceremony and the night time display for their cake cutting. [/field]
