CS Miano, Defence PS grace Laikipia’s Fourth Medium Term Plan

Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano on Friday spearheaded the dissemination of Laikipia County’s Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) for 2023–2024.

CS Miano who was accompanied by Defence Principal Secretary Patrick Mariru were in Nturukuma area of Nanyuki for a sensitization forum.

Also present were the Laikipia County Governor Joshua Irungu and Laikipia County Commissioner Onesmus Kyatha.

The proposed Laikipia MTP IV aims to guide the implementation of several development projects, including the drilling of boreholes, construction of dams and water pans, and road maintenance works, among others.

MTP IV was approved by the Cabinet in November 2023 and launched by His Excellency the President on 21st March, 2024.

To ensure full participation of citizens, it is imperative to create awareness on what the Government is undertaking, its commitments in the Medium Term and how this will impact on the quality of lives of Kenyans
