The national Under 23 soccer team, Emerging Stars, head coach Ken Odhiambo has named the final 23 man squad ahead of the forthcoming COSAFA Cup scheduled June 26-July 7th in Port Elizabeth,South Africa.
The squad includes Gor Mahia midfielder Austine Odhiambo, Chrispine Erambo, Byrne Omondi and Kaycie Odhiambo.
Enterprising prodigies Aldrine Kibet, Elly Owande, Ibrahim Wanzala and Amos Wanjala also made the travelling squad.
Kenya has been drawn in group A with Zambia, Comoros, and Zimbabwe. Kenya will begin its campaign against Zambia on Thursday.
The team is set to depart for South Africa today.
